Yep! Vynn is free to get started. If that ever changes, we'll let you know well in advance—no surprises.
What can Vynn actually do?
Vynn currently helps you search Canadian grocery products and keep a simple list. Recipe import, confirm-first store quotes, owner-only server lists, and other planning tools are rolling out separately.

Where do the prices come from?
We pull pricing from participating retailers and show you when it was last updated, so you always know how fresh the data is.
Will Vynn remind me when I'm running low on something?
Smart restock reminders are planned and are not part of the current app release.
Can I scan barcodes?
The Release 1.0 mobile candidate includes camera barcode lookup. A separate website tool lets you manually enter a UPC, EAN, or GTIN to compare available matching price records; neither surface confirms live inventory.
Does it work with Siri, Alexa, or Google Assistant?
Voice-assistant list integration is planned and is not part of the current app release.
Can I import a recipe?
Recipe import is coming soon. In Vynn, you will be able to paste a recipe URL or text, or choose recipe images, review the draft, and choose products yourself before Vynn calculates known-price totals.
Does Vynn confirm that a store has an item in stock?
No. Current search results show available price records from participating retailers, not live inventory or in-stock confirmation. Confirm availability and final prices with the retailer.
Does it work for different shopping routines?
The current app supports grocery product search and a simple local list. Household collaboration and other planning workflows are planned separately.
How does the shared list work?
Household sharing is planned for a future update. The current app has a simple local list that is not shared with a household account.
Does Vynn give nutrition advice?
Cart nutrition scoring is planned and is not part of the current app release. When recipe nutrition is enabled, it will be planning information with missing facts left unknown, not medical advice.
What do you do with my email?
We only use it to send you launch updates. That's it—no spam, no sharing.
